It’s now Sembreak; my “Addiction for Up”

Finally, dili nako magmatamata ug sayo..i can eat,drink,rest,sleep and have fun at home ! NO COMM 1!!!! NO paperworks! NO Reading materials! hehehehehehe. Nindota sa feeling sa! Ka tapolan sad nako.. hehehe. ok ra oi! I deserved it kay brutal kau sa UP grabe ka kapoy to think 18 units ra.

I met my highschool friends. Daghan kayo sila gipang storya about sa ila schools. Nursing mn jud sila. dili ko mka relate usahy. then it came na nagpakita sila ug IDs nila…naulaw ko.. plastic ilang ID no! Ila gisaway. Laminate ra intawn ako. Cge lang…bahala pangit ang Id… tga UP bitaw!hehehe..ooops… In ani na ba jud ko?
Being in UP is more of a privilege and a gift. The very first time I entered the Diliman Campus, I saw beauty because how could a park-like campus be build in such a large area within Metro Manila? I was 7years old then. After that, I always dreamed of being a UP student. I was inspired by my father and brother. The summer before my senior high school year, I was busy preparing my UPCAT forms, weighing what course I should take if ever I’ll pass the exam, reviewing every weekends. The UPCAT came, it was hard and time pressured, I got colds during the exams. Fortunately, I passed for the CeBu campus. I was in dillema wether Ill take BSPT in Velez or BA MAssComm in UP. My mother, aunts, cousins and classmates warned me of going to UP because I might be absorbed of its deviant ideologies. But I pursued the best.. I chose UP!
Is UP still the TOP school in our country?
It is!!! Diliman students embarass Ateneans and La Sallians who claim to be the top private Universities in the country; Manila is the best medical school in the country…LAYO RA ANG UBAN NURSING SCHOOLS OI!!!!!!! UPcebuians maybe outcasts in the queen city of the south and have nothing to prove that its the best school in the area to challenge schools like CDU,USP,USC. We have the best professors in the country no doubt about it.
But because of the aura that UP brings, what have I become because of it ?
Im guilty that sometimes when I talk about people, I brag my arrogance of being a UPian. Sometimes man jud, some people are uttering offending comments about UP and UP students: somewhat they look at us na murag addict, bagag nawong, Uncivilized, everything that UP profs taught and give to us are unlikeable!!! We are radicals as they say. Pwero unsaon ta man sdili mn juds mkalikayug inani na situation…because silently u are too proud of being a UPian, you forget to not hurt other’s feelings. you know what i mean…
In dis sad world…which is harder…: ang ingnan ka na pobre ka or ang ingnan ka na bugo ka? pareha raba sila ug worth?
Im guilty kay sa sobraan nako ka proud sa akong pagka UP, usahy i Sound arrogant. SORRY!!!!! But I’m not really like that. Because a true UPian is obliged to help the people that sent him to a UP education as soon he graduates. We have social responsibilities. MONEY is not our prime focus, it’s the people and that is why UPians don’t have a plan of living forever outside our country.
tIme will tell. although some schools are cathing up with UP, time will tell that UP will attain its former glory thats sets the school very far apart from the others.

Lahi lagi ang college sa high school! its true…
pero sa tanan college sa felepens, ang UP jud ang lahi! though 18units ra maximum drea, ahak kayo!!! kapoy kayo mag tuon sa finals… hahay!!!mas kapoy pa compared sa mga finals sa uban private schools! maski 33 units pa inu!
kay nganong nag nursing man jud!
i have survived the first semester confidently with passing grades!!!

Im a full pledge UPian na!… i have adjusted to this environment…
whatever people may try to badmouth the sacred name of my school, NASUYA lang mo… tga UP ko!! deviant mo. hehehe.. peace…
maka uli nako sa amo for alleast 3 weeks… may nalng kayasa sauna na tig duha or 4 days ra bitin kayo!!!!!
